Roseland Waterpark

It is the largest water park located in the Finger Lakes region. The daredevils and the kids alike will find suitable features, suiting to their likeness. From the Cliff, riders can drop 65 feet at a speed of 30 mph. You can go up and down with your kid hopping into a double tube or fly solo. You can visit this amusement park between 9.30 am to 7 p.m. Admission charges are $30.95 for adults and $27.95 for children

Thunder Island

The Thunder Rush slide is a dark tube that starts from the top of a tower, 42 feet high. Besides, you can enjoy different open water slides and the Surge Tube River Ride. Other attractions are the 2 feet drop into darkness and a pair of an enclosed body flumes. The address is 21 Wilcox Road, Fulton, NY. There is no general admission, but a ticket or wristband is required for entering attractions.

You can have features like Grand Prix, splash way, raft ride and a 3-lane body slide. You can have other water activities such as wave pool and lazy river, a water play area with water cannons and 700 feet zipline known as Gravity Gorge that takes riders over the gorge, located at the center of the park. General admission charges are $29.99 and for children $22.99.

Cascades Indoor Waterpark

Besides swimming and sliding, you can have other features such as white water wave pool, four water tubes and tub slides, known as the Rapids. You can also have an interactive water play in the Big Bear Falls by climbing two slides, four water blasters and a climbing net. It is a 41000 square feet indoor facility, with an artificial fall of 13 feet high. Admission charges, for guests above 65” are $32, and for those over 42” $35.00. Other attractions are Edgewater café, the Hope lake Lodge and Conference Center, the Outdoor Adventure center and the Green Peak. Splashwater Kingdom at the Great Escape

You can have a number of activities such as lazy rivers, large pools, multi-passenger rafting and speed slides. The special attraction is Mega Wedgie in which riders are shot into a tunnel of 100 feet at a high speed and spins around a gigantic bowl. You can have the Tornado that will take you down a 132 feet tunnel and throw you into a mouth of an enormous funnel. Admission charges for General are $55.99 and children under 48” $45.99. Other nearby locations of interest are Ghost Town, Story Town, Fest Area, Kidzpolis, Timber Town, Great Escape Lodge and International Village, where you can get the best food and shopping in the Park

Splashtown Waterpark at Darien Lake

Here, you can have six major rides and slides that include a Brain Drain, a water slide dropping riders to 300 feet in just 10 seconds. You may like other rides such as the Big Kahuna that carries four people in a raft and can enjoy dipping and twisting for more than 700 feet. Besides, you can enjoy the Hook’s lagoon and the Crocodile Isle Wave Pool. Parking is $8 a car. Palm Island Indoor Waterpark

This resort has a 53,326 square feet of wave pools and activity pools along with slides, jungle falls playground. You can also have a lot of fun at the Split Rock. Great Wolf Lodge Water Park

You should not feel cozy at the look of the carved sculptures of the bear or the faux raw-wood siding. Your little ones will be delighted in splashing in the 84 degree water park, particularly during the winter. There are lots of features to amaze you such as a roller coaster, water-slide hybrid, a 1000 gallon tipping bucket, activity pools for smaller ones, Scoops kids spa, a mini golf, a massage at the Element spa, a wizard themed scavenger hunt and much more. Room charges start at $120 per person per night.
